Destiny Ride
Destiny Ride
Dimeji Salau
Like a shadow it trails, but frowns Shrouded in unfortunate mystery, it drowns Victims's eyes in heavy brine, it turns brown Yet on the victor's head it harbours crown People toil everyday from dusk to noon Hoping to savour the evening under the moon But victims and victors are made out of them soon Why is it that life's storm blows some to their room But others to their doom Unanswered, the question of destiny rather looms For us, let's sit not alone Brooding on fate that remains unknown With a little more effort out of our comfort zone Destiny will smile at us from above And it's despair will be gone.
